Restoration of an old house in the oldest district of the medieval town of Vico del Gargano, in the north of Puglia. The house is used both for private use and as a B&B. the goal of the restoration was to enhance the original features of the house, enhancing every detail, including the imperfections caused by time and therefore its history, its soul. The materials used are simple, arketypes: cement, lime plaster, stone and wood. Then very basic custom designed furniture combined with carefully selected recycled furniture, all from southern Italy.
Muri intonacati a calce, tetto in legno con travi di tipo “usofiume”, pietra di Ostuni a terra creano una piacevole tensione visiva con arredi su disegno e preziosi pezzi di modernariato e design.
Con il calare della notte la piscina esterna diventa una lanterna incastonata nei muri in pietra a secco e dalla natura circostante.
